Recommendations for Paint/Body shop

I've got the 2008 Shelby GT, Vista Blue with silver stripes. These Shelby GTs were notorious for having hood scoop issues. Before I bought mine someone had got the updated scoop from Shelby. Normally the stripes on the car are decals (pretty sure these were replaced as well) but the original hood scoop was the opposite, painted silver with a Vista Blue decal strip down the middle. The replacement scoop came silver but not an exact match so this one was painted and it appears the blue stripe was painted as well. The scoop is riveted to the hood and appears the rivets were painted over, or at least the tops were painted. Well the paint flakes ever so slightly around the rivets and some of those flakes have grown quite a bit and now there is a good 4 or 5" patch of paint flaked off.

Reading up on the early woes of those that replaced this scoop there were plenty of horror stories about getting the scoop painted and or decaled, often having the hood or even the whole care restriped with decals and or paint. Misaligned and uneven stripes etc. done by shops that were supposed to have high marks or tgat dealerships used. One even forgot to put the small blue strip down the center of the scoop leaving the entire scoop silver, mounted back on the car and they thought that was just fine.

This makes me very nervous about choosing a shop I can trust my baby too. Can anyone recommend a shop they would unequivocally trust to either do it right or at least own up and correct it if there are any issues? It's not a $100,000 car but I want it to be treated as such. Anywhere in the Twin Cities is fine, bonus points for the SE side.

I can only speak to who I have used, but I recently had the front and rear bumper covers repaired and repainted on my '09 Vista Blue GT/CS, by Apple Valley Collision (CarStar) and they did a great job. This is the third time someone in my family has had them do some work for us. They are a smaller shop and seem to care a little more than some of the bigger production shops. All I can say is go talk to them and see what they have to say.
