22nd Annual Pony Express Run

Dates: Sept 18,19,20, 2026 Location: Lancaster, WI (west of Prairie du Chien) Hotel: Sleep Inn & Suites, 1600 S. Madison Street, Lancaster,WI 53813

(Choice Hotels) Phone: 608-723-3337 25 Rooms are being held under Northern Star Mustang Club Rooms will only be held until August 14, 2026 Rooms rates are $149.00 a night (2 nights with taxes included=$345.68) This cost is the same for either 2 Queens or 1 King Rooms Reservations can be made online using the LINK to the reservations SEE BELOW. The LINK will take you directly to our group reservation. No need to use a code of any kind. Select your room and get a confirmation number. It has been noted that sometimes if you are trying to use your cell phone to connect to this LINK it might not work. In that case either make your reservation using your computer or laptop OR you can call the Sleep Inn Reservations Desk at 608-723-3337 to make a reservation. Tell them you are with the Northern Star Mustang Club group and our dates to get the special rate. Be sure to get a confirmation. If you are a Choice Hotels Member make sure to include your rewards number on your reservation. You cannot pay for these rooms with your points but you will receive points for your stay. Do Not use your Choice Hotel AP to book the room – you will not get our group rate that way. MAKE Your Room Reservation NOW. This cruise tends to fills up fast. If you need to cancel, you have until 4 pm on the day of your reservation (9/18) to cancel and avoid penalty. If you have to cancel your room reservation for any reason – let Andrea know – sometimes there are people on a waiting list to get in on this cruise. Check in Time is 3 pm – Check out is 11 am. A free Hot Breakfast is included in the cost of your room. Once you have make your reservation PLEASE e-mail or text Andrea with the following: 1. Names of all people attending 2. phone number and e-mail 3. Number of nights you will stay at the hotel. 4. Number of cars you will be bringing (some people will have more than 1)

Andrea Nelson is in charge of hotel rooms/reservations so if you have any questions call, text or e-mail her. Other events like the cruise route, food events, and fun activities (there is mini golf and bowling in the area) are being coordinated by Phil and Tammy, Shad and Kevan. You know it will be EPIC! NSMC 1st ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF

Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026 

 

Time: 1 pm to 5 pm 

 

Kick-Off Fall with us and plan to attend the FIRST car club Chili Cook-Off. Right now we are looking for people who are interested in providing their own World Famous Chili into the competition. We already have two entries but we need a few more. The first THREE people who RSVP below will be entered into the competition. You will get a confirmation that you have been selected. 

 

Also we need to know how many people will be attending so please RSVP below so we know how many to plan for. Once we know who will attend, you will receive an e-mail a couple of weeks before the event to sign up for what you can contribute to the meal: (examples, Shredded cheese, sour cream, buns for hot dogs, dessert etc). You’ll also receive directions to the garage condos and a gate code to enter the front gate. 

 

So right now, please RSVP as follows:

1) Let us know if you plan on bringing a Crock Pot of your World Famous Chili, and/or

2) The names of people attending and if you will be judging instead.
